Kym was born and raised in Victoria and currently resides on the Saanich Peninsula with her young family. She completed a Bachelor of Science at the University of Victoria prior to receiving her Master’s of Physical Therapy at UBC in 2015. She has been practicing as an orthopaedic physiotherapist since graduating and has a keen interest in working with the aging population. She is passionate about providing evidence based and individualized treatment to optimize her patient’s quality of life. Kym has specialized training in: vestibular physiotherapy, IMS, concussion management, whiplash management, manual therapy, pain science, Parkinson’s Disease, senior’s care and falls. The most fulfilling aspect of her job is forming personal connections with her patients and advocating for their healthcare needs.
